Privacy & site measurements

Bear Handed Iron uses simple first-party measurements to learn which pages and pieces interest visitors and which links send people to Etsy.

We keep daily totals of page views, product-detail views, Etsy link clicks, and clicks to begin a custom inquiry. Totals may be grouped by the page, product, link location, a broad traffic source, and a small set of approved campaign labels. Dates use Eastern time.

These measurements do not use advertising cookies, visitor identifiers, fingerprinting, session recordings, or profiles. We do not save IP addresses, full referrer URLs, query strings, names, email addresses, form contents, or Etsy purchase information in the measurement database. The hosting service necessarily processes requests under its own policies.

Only the shop owner can view the report. Clicks indicate interest; they do not confirm that a message was sent or a sale happened. Your browser may suppress these measurements, and known automated traffic is filtered where practical.

Following a link to Etsy or Instagram takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices.
