BEHIND THE FORGE
A hammer.
A fire.
A promise.
I’m Barrett, the maker behind Bear Handed Iron. I forge each piece by hand here in Virginia.
I started making things so I could spend time with my mother at craft shows. She believed I had an artist’s spirit, and asked me to keep creating. This work is my way of keeping that promise.
Thank you for taking a look at what I make, and for considering a place for it in your home.
