I make these pokers by hand in my Virginia shop. Before choosing one, think about where you’ll use it, the reach you need, and where you’ll keep it between fires.
Choose your length
My wrap-handle poker comes in 30", 36", 44" and 48" lengths. Compare those overall measurements with your fireplace or fire pit and your storage space. The longer options offer extra reach.
The wrap handle
The loop is formed by wrapping the tail of the steel back around the shaft, giving the handle its distinctive shape alongside the twist in the steel.
Make it personal
Choose a plain handle or laser engraving. A name, date or short phrase can make it a personal gift for an anniversary, housewarming or someone who enjoys time around a fire. Enter your wording exactly as you want it engraved, checking spelling, punctuation and dates. The usual limit is 20 characters; message me through Etsy about longer requests.

Simple care
Keep your poker dry when it’s not in use. If surface rust develops, a little steel wool and a light coat of oil will help clean it up.
